Daca utilizezi Twitter e posibil ca deja sa fi participat cu cateva versuri la scrierea celei mai lungi poezii online din lume. Poezia online cu versuri in limba engleza este o idee dezvoltata de Andrei Gheorghe, un programator roman in varsta de 22 ani. Twitturile, mesaje de maxim 140 de caractere, sunt agregate in timp real si grupate astfel incat sa rimeze. The Longest Poem in the World se compune continuu, zilnic audaugandu-se aproximativ 4000 de versuri. In 3 luni de zile poemul a ajuns la peste 395.000 de versuri.

Twitter, platforma de micro-blogging, permite utilizatorilor sa posteze mesaje scurte cu scopul de a raspunde unei intrebari simple, de genul "Ce faceti in acest moment?", de a schimba informatii sau a lega prietenii.Astfel din ideile, gandurile, evenimentele postate zilnic de milioane de utilizatori s-a nascut o forma de arta colectiva internationala. Aruncand o privire veti constata idei banale, amuzante si chiar fragmente interesante:
